Mother's Lullaby

(Dee Vickery & Sabra Vickery)
Jimmy Romine (a great friend & songwriter from Lockhart, TX) Dee Vickery wrote the recitation
A little girl who was aborted is talking to Jesus about how she feels about what happened to her.... as she looks over the portals of Heaven on a loving mother singing a lullaby to her little girl...
An aborted child talking to Jesus....
Recitation by Sabra Vickery, my granddaughter...

"Jesus, please don’t be mad at my Mommy, she didn’t know what else to do. They told her I was just a blob in there and they said I had no feelings too. But I was warm and safe and growing, and I had so much love to give.

Then the doctors came. I got cold! They were burning me! They were pulling me apart!
Didn’t they know I wanted to live?

But now I’m here with You. Jesus, all these little kids, were they aborted too? Don’t the people care that abortion is MURDER on little folks like me? Can’t they see?

It was You Jesus, Who formed me in my mommy’s tummy. You said I was fearfully and wonderfully made. But I guess there’s no point in thinking about it now, cause it’s too late....for me. But it’s not too late for others. Oh Jesus! Help the big people see they’re wrong. And I know that You’d forgive them if only they would pray and ask.

Well, thank You Jesus for listening to my story, but there is just one more thing. Please help my mommy see that I love her very much and I forgive her......for killing me."
